These are comments from my teammates.  I was able to assist with the team doctors and help my friends at the same time using my certified skills as a chiropractor in Canada and the United States.

Honestly, I trust my care to not only my friend, but someone who will ultimately be my doctor well beyond her days on the pitch are over.

“Melissa is a powerful, strong and intelligent female who has not only pushed the boundaries as an athlete, but will continue to do in the chiropractic and medical field. She is the epitome of what hard work, clear vision and discipline can look like on and off the field. She is a special individual, with a bright future ahead of her!”

What separates Melissa from others is that she’s been on the other side of most injuries. She is so much more than a chiro. I’ve had a lot of people work on me but she’s the best because of her experience at the highest level as an athlete which she takes over to the practice. It’s almost like adjustments are the last thing she does after she finds out the root of the injury and works from there.

You leave a session with her feeling like a new person.

Teammate, Friend, Doctor. It’s the whole package with her and she is a heck of a player at the same time.

I am so proud of what she did taking the time off between London 2012 and the World Cup to get her degree and set herself up for life after soccer is over.
